Spicy Pancettas with Melefsis Smoked Chili Infused Honey sauce
for 4 persons
Ingredients:
- 500g of pancettas (approximately 1 cm thick) or equivalent of pork ribs
- 3 mixed bell peppers sliced
- 2 red onions sliced
- 1 large carrot finely sliced
- Fresh ginger chopped
- Garlic chopped
- Fresh coriander Chopped
- Melefsis Smoked Chili Honey Sauce
Instructions:
Pre heat oven to 200 deg C and lay meat on a tray. Season with salt and pepper and cook for 10 min to extract water from the meat. Drain off water, this is essential so they get crispy, then cover meat with ¼ of a bottle of Melefsis Smoked Chili Honey Sauce. Add ginger and garlic, mix well and put the tray back in the oven for approximately 20-25 min, until pancettas are crispy golden brown. Add sliced peppers and onions and cook for a further 10 min. Serve on a platter with warm rice, drizzle another ¼ of a bottle of Melefsis Smoked Chili Honey Sauce and sprinkle with chopped coriander.
